Contributor's comments: I am from Brisbane and know them as 'tallies' but my friend who is the descendant of several generations of Perth-ites says in WA they're sometimes called king browns.
Contributor's comments: I grew up in WA and always knew them as king browns, I'd never heard them referred to as tallies until I moved to Sydney.
Contributor's comments: My dad used that term when I was younger refering to "VB long necks", he grew up in Melbourne but worked for a while on a mine in WA when he was in his prime drinking years.
