Contributor's comments: Growing in WA in the 70's and 80", and still to this day we used the term lacky bands or lackies. Since I have moved to Queensland no one seems to know what I am talking about!
Contributor's comments: This is the standard term in Perth where I grew up. I now live in Melbourne where people look at me blankly whenever I use the term "lacky band".
